What is Todomojo?
Todomojo is the name of the Rootwork Practice of (Auntie) Sindy Todo. Services include spiritual consulting/readings, custom mojo bags, candle rituals, altar work. I work with my clients to help bring them to higher levels of prosperity, love, protection and spiritual growth. The initial contact with a client includes a card (or other form of divination) reading and consultation usually conducted on the phone. I use this reading to guide me in determining if work should be done and what is the “true” situation with the client. I am then able to consult at more depth on what he or she needs to do in order to proceed with their request.
My practice is holistic in its use of herbs, roots, and minerals, and always calls on the power of The Divine Source in all of us to carry out the work. It is my blessing that I honor and connect with my Ancestors, all of the Ascended Masters, Saints and Angels who watch over me daily and guide me to help others change, heal and continue on their guided path.
My calling to be a rootwork practitioner or ‘root doctor’ comes from my Grandmothers. My Cajun grandma visited a rootworker weekly. She was a poor sharecropper’s wife and worked side by side in the fields with African Americans. They shared all their “cures and remedies” and she raised her 13 children in this tradition along with her Catholic faith. My Lebanese Grandmother ran a boarding house in the town that I was born in, a thriving, bustling seaport and back in her day “Ms. Michelle” was known not only for her fine cooking but her gift of card reading.

I have always enjoyed crafting gifts for people to bring luck, long life, or a new job. Every time I had readings and Astrology charts done, I was told that I was supposed to work to heal and help folks. I pretty much ignored this until about the turn of the Millennium. I stopped working in the corporate world and started my own small management business, hand picking about 15 clients that I serve to this day. All are highly talented, gifted people who embrace all my work, both the mundane and the esoteric.
Still not feeling fulfilled or in my skin so to speak, I once again got into making “lucky” talismans more frequently. I began searching the Internet for supplies and found Lucky Mojo and Catherine Yronwode. Landing there began my journey into rootwork and I embraced the work voraciously and was one of the first 18 graduates from the Hoodoo Rootwork Course. It was the most natural thing in the world to me. I knew I was going to help people with this work. There was absolutely no question in my mind. Simultaneously, I found my “intuitive mentor” who has guided me on my energetic and spiritual path. My calling was fulfilled; my path before me crystal clear and it has been the greatest blessing in my life.
