My darling husband loves to read the newpaper. I hate it. He trys to find some interesting parts to share with me and sometimes he hits on an enlightening piece of journalism. The other day, a great piece of advice jumped out at me. I was so excited, I told Jerry, "Here's something I can blog about".
So this first blog entry is dedicated to my beloved hubby who I met when I was a waitress back in the '70's. We've been married almost 24 years and are hooked on each other to this day!
Here's how the story goes. This gal was trying to find out how to know if you've gotten the right man to marry. The reply was, "Watch how he treats the waitress (or server)". I about fell out of my chair. This is the most sound piece of advice I could give.
Does he say please and thank you? What about his manners overall in public?
Does he look up and connect to the server in the eye? Does he smile and engages some dialog?
Is he attentive while she reads off the specials? Is he a good listener?
All of the answers to these questions and many more will be exactly how he/she treats you! So while I love to recommend to my clients a sweetening jar with a petition paper inside and all "hooked" together to bring two lovers closer to a long term commitment, I would never do so if these simple questions couldn't be answered affirmatively. Any doubt, don't hook him/her to you...
Here's a picture of the contents of a Hooking Honey Jar! If you'd like to talk about your relationship or find out ways to help increase your love life in a multitude of ways, let me know. I'm a walkin' talkin' success story when it comes to being the waitress that hooked her honey!
Love, love, love and bountiful blessings!
